Georgios Kolliopoulos, Member of the Board
Executive Director, «ΕGNATIA ODOS S.A.»

Georgios Kolliopoulos is a member of the Board of Directors of “EGNATIA ODOS AE” (EOAE) and the company’s Executive Director responsible for the coordination of the concession of the Egnatia Motorway. Recently, Mr. Kolliopoulos also undertook the coordination of the Department of International Projects of EOAE.

He is a Surveying Engineer of the National Technical University of Athens (1972) and a master degree holder in Transportation from the University of Bradford (1975).

He was employed for many years at Doxiadis AssociatesConsultants on Development and Ekistics and, in particular, at the company’s Department of Transportation. Later on, he was involved in the company’s Department for International Projects for projects mainly in Saudi Arabia, the United Arab Emirates, Oman, Pakistan, etc (1977-1986).

In 1989, he founded the company ADO SA, whose activity expanded over the fields of program, project and construction management for major engineering projects constructed in Greece, such as the Egnatia Motorway and premises for the Olympic Games, while he also founded subsidiaries in the Balkan countries where ADO operated. In 2015, Giorgos Kolliopoulos retired from the Management of the company and in 2016 he transferred all of his shares.

He was one of the founding members of the Hellenic Institute of Transport Engineers, and a Member of the Institute’s Board of Directors for 4 years.

He has been a member of many professional associations, both Greek and foreign, as well as General Secretary of the Greek-Bulgarian Chamber of Commerce & Industry from 2002 to 2010.

His numerous papers on issues pertaining to transport projects, traffic models, and motorway concession projects have been presented to conferences both in Greece and abroad, as well as in international IRF (International Road Federation) conferences.

In October 2016, he was appointed a Member of the Board of Directors of the Hellenic Association of Toll Road Network.
